THE SEED Swap & Shop event at Yorkley Community Centre was met with great enthusiasm, attracting a large crowd of gardening enthusiasts eager to swap seeds, shop for supplies, and gain valuable knowledge.

Wendy from Dean Meadows Group kicked off the event with an informative talk on wildflower meadows, offering attendees helpful tips on creating vibrant, sustainable outdoor spaces. Meanwhile, Susan Young shared her expertise on growing beans, providing useful insights for gardeners of all experience levels.

Adding to the event's appeal, the Yorkley Mend and Repair Café offered free tool sharpening services, ensuring participants’ gardening tools were ready for the upcoming growing season.

The event proved to be a successful community gathering, and organisers expressed their gratitude to all those who attended, as well as the stall holders for their contributions. Plans for future events are already in the works.
