RESIDENTS at West Bank Nursing Home enjoyed a heartwarming visit from some furry friends this week, courtesy of New Start Cat Rescue.

Three of the charity’s rescue cats—Crunchie, a ginger, Oreo, a black and white, and Hetty, a little tabby and white—brought joy to residents and staff alike as they settled in for some much-needed cuddles.

Oreo, in particular, caught the attention of many as he made himself right at home. He was spotted contentedly kneading the floor with his paws – a behaviour often seen in happy, relaxed cats.

New Start Cat Rescue described the visit as a "lovely therapy visit" and thanked the home for the invitation, adding: "We will be back soon!"
