NEWENT avenged their Forest of Dean Combination Senior Cup final loss against Cinderford by lifting the Combination’s Sevens title this weekend.
Newent defeated Cinderford in the final, winning 27-10 on Sunday at Berry Hill.
The tournament played host to seven clubs - with Lydney having to withdraw on Thursday evening.
Cinderford topped their group, going unbeaten, ahead of eventual winners Newent in second.
Drybrook and Westbury-on-Severn came third and fourth.
Ross-on-Wye won the second group ahead of hosts Berry Hill in second and third-placed Bream.
The hosts then went down to Cinderfod 36-7 in their senior semi-final while Newent demolished Ross 34-0.
In the plate, Drybrook were given a bye to the final as Bream defeated Westbury 29-17.
