CINDERFORD have secured the signing of Exeter Chiefs second row Jerry Sexton on a short term basis.
Sexton, the younger brother of Ireland superstar Johnny, will continues to train full time with Exeter. The 21-year-old lock, a product of the Leinster academy, represented Ireland Under-20 and has played for French Division Two side Auch.
“This is an another opportunity for us to work with a young player who has international age group rugby experience and through preseason has worked exceptionally hard at Exeter Chiefs,” said Cinderford Director of Rugby Nic Corrigan.
“I am most grateful to Rob Baxter and his coaching team for their support in this short-term loan and making it happen it so quickly.
“I know our supporters will give him a usual Forest welcome ahead of this month where we start against two sides in Loughborough Students and Hartpury College that will pose huge threats to us by their natural styles.”
