IN A thrilling conclusion to this year’s Steve Briscoe Memorial Trophy, Lydney Golf Club emerged victorious against Forest Hills, retaining the coveted trophy in honor of the late Steve Briscoe, former captain of Forest Hills. 

The highly anticipated second leg of the annual match took place at Lydney Golf Club, where the hosts secured a decisive win with a score of six games to two with Lydney claiming the overall victory by a single point. 

The match was a showcase of competitive spirit and sportsmanship. Lydney’s winning pairs included Joe Collins and Kane McGuire, Gary Tremayne and Dean Crossman, Paul Hinton and Ben Roberts, Lionel Bath and Rob Hume, Tom Bath and Ross Howells, and Mark Lightbound and Harvey Wheeler. 

Each pairing delivered stellar performances, contributing significantly to the club's triumphant outcome.
