Newent Town has officially appointed Romayne Thomas as their new First Team Manager. A former professional player with Stevenage in League Two, Thomas brings a wealth of experience to the role.

His career also included spells at Wealdstone and Hampton & Richmond at Steps One and Two, giving him a strong understanding of competitive football at various levels.

After hanging up his boots, Thomas transitioned into a consulting role with a Premier League football agency for three years, before joining Bishops Cleeve in the Southern League.
