CINDERFORD Town assistant manager Andrew Smith admitted that his side will have a tough start to the new Southern League Division One South campaign.

The league fixtures were revealed last week with the Foresters hosting Cirencester Town on the opening day in a re-match of the controversial play-off semi-final in April.

Cinderford host Cirencester on Saturday August 17 before travelling to Paulton on Tuesday August 20.

They then welcome recently relegated Frome Town to the Causeway on Bank Holiday Monday, August 26.

Town also have a long trip to South Buckinghamshire to take on Marlow in the FA Cup Preliminary Round just two days prior on Saturday August 24.
