SIX first half tries helped Cinderford to an impressive 48-28 win over Macclesfield in National League Division Two West at Dockham Road.
The hosts were on the scoreboard with just over a minute on the clock as No 8 Aaron Ryan touched down with Reece Boughton adding the extras.
Cinderford dominated the first half with wingers and the front row in the action.
Winger Sam Smith added a second try after 14 minutes with Boughton knocking over the conversion.
Hooker Nathan Taylor scored after 27 minutes to take Cinderford into a 19-0 lead.
Five minutes later full-back Sonny Greenman made it 24-0 and within three minutes winger Elliott Southworth had added another five points.
On the verge of half-time, scrum-half Jimmy Williams scored the sixth try of the game which was converted by Boughton.
The Cheshire side were a different proposition in the second half with Harry Oliver converting his own try inside a minute.
Within five minutes of the restart they had a second converted try to make it 36-14.
Greenman got his second with half an hour remaining to take Cinderford onto 41.
Nathan Taylor also scored a second try but two further tries gave Macclesfield a bonus point.
