CINDERFORD took a 19-7 lead in the opening quarter in their National League Two West game at Loughborough Students but had no reply to the storm that followed.
The Leicestershire side responded with 41 unanswered points before Ben Carpenter scored a bonus point try deep I the second half.
George Knowles opened the scoring after four minutes with Reece Bowkett’s conversion making it 0-7.
The scores were level within two minutes through a Jack Howells try converted by Ben Taylor.
Stan Folks-Underhill restored the lead with an 11th minute try but Bowkett’s conversion did not land.
Sam Smith added a third after 22 minutes which was converted by Bowkett for 19-7 but another four tries saw the Students go into the interval at 29-19.
Ben Carpenter earned the visitors a bonus with a 68th minute try but by that stage Loughborough had scored another 19 points.
The Students added another three tries in the last 10 minutes to make the final score 60-24.
Joe Mullis scored two tries with Daniel Kibble and Lewis Mason getting one each for Cinderford United as they lost out 36-22 to Counties One Western North promotion chasers Clifton II.
