COACH Duncan Bell says he wants to stay on at Lydney beyond this season.
When he turned up to take his first training session back in the summer, Bell discovered a squad in disarray.
Saturday's 25-24 defeat of Taunton Titans, however, showed the rugby pride is back at Regentsholme.
Bell said: "This year was always going to be about stability and survival.
"Hopefully, I will be here for at least two to three years, preferably even longer, but it's not my decision.
"I must admit I was worried when I turned up for that first session to find 12 players and told 'that's your squad'.
"Now we've got a good core of players and we've shown the surrounding area what we are all about. We've got tremendous support and we're part of a rugby town. Things can only get bigger and better."
