Letter to the Editor: I write about the court case about the man who set his dogs on a wild boar.

I am shocked and disgusted to read of the suffering these wild animals have experienced before their death, this is unnecessary cruelty, just for this individual’s pleasure.

No animal either wild or domestic should encounter this amount of sick and painful games that Luke Rix have inflicted on them.

Then to only get 18 weeks in prison and banning of keeping dogs for 10 years.

Luke Rix should be banned for life for keeping or to be anywhere near any kind of animal, wild or domestic.

These loving animals should not be allowed to be anywhere near this human being (if that is what you can call him)

There also should be a lot bigger sentence than 18 weeks as he obviously had intended to action these horrible and inhumane games, thinking that these animals should take the pain and cruelty just for his sick pleasure.

The world is hard enough to live in at the present time, let’s not have scum like Luke Rix allowing these unwanted actions to take place.
