The Scarr Bandstand hosts a great afternoon of live music on Sunday 21 July, with up-and-coming artists from The Music Works. Starting at 2pm, TSantana, Muna Mone, Trinity and Pebble Daisy will be performing.

At 2.30, guest artist Ernie Emmanuel will perform.  At just 15 years old, Ernie won the Best Pop/R&B Act 2024 at Newport City Radio's "Love Live Music Awards” and is performing at Festivals all over the Forest and South Wales this summer. Ernie is an accomplished performer, singer and songwriter with a unique style, performing folk, indie and pop songs with a Welsh lilt.

In the morning, there are free fun music workshops for young children, children with special needs and vulnerable adults, along with their families and friends.  See the Scarr Bandstand website for more details.

And from 12.30, there is free food for the under 16s - until it runs out!  There will be lots of food, drink and ice cream for everyone to buy.

You are invited to go along to the Scarr Bandstand (free entry) to support young local musicians - you may be among the first to spot the next Taylor Swift or Ed Sheeran!
