A woman has pleaded guilty to murder after the discovery of human remains in suitcases in the Forest of Dean.

Gareeca Conita Gordon, 28, pleaded guilty to killing Phoenix Netts, 28, between April 14 and May 12 last year.

Police discovered Ms Netts’ remains outside Stowfield Quarry near Coleford on May 12, 2020.

Gordon, of Salisbury Road, Birmingham, appeared via video link from HMP Eastwood Park at a hearing at Bristol Crown Court today (April 21).

Judge Peter Blair QC, the Recorder of Bristol, said Gordon would be sentenced at another hearing on May 4.
