WHEN Tim Holder tried to ring the police 101 number to report a crime, he was told to visit his local police station.
He informed the person on the other end of the line that Cinderford no longer had its own police station – so they suggested he should 'pop in' to the stations at Stroud or Cirencester!
Mr Holder said: "I do think their staff need some training.
"They asked if I'd tried going to Cirencester Police Station! Then they said 'what about Stroud'? and I told them it would take me two hours to get there by public transport."
