VILLAGERS are on a mission to help a popular local cancer sufferer fulfil a lifelong wish to see Italy.
Friends in Blakeney were devastated to hear Tina White's aggressive breast cancer had spread to her liver.
But they were determined to help the woman regarded by many as a second mum to achieve her dream.
They have set up a fund to raise money, so Tina and husband Eric can go to Italy.
They have already held a surprise party at the village hall for the 52-year-old mother of two, who is currently in hospital.
The British Legion held a skittles match and now chairman Mike Botchett and vice-chairman Steven Burr have agreed to have their heads shaved.
"She's a really lovely lady who's well known in the village," said Mike.
"She always seems to be running around after other people and a lot of the younger women say she's like a second mum. Some even call her mum."
