The M48 Severn Bridge has now reopened in both directions after being closed earlier this morning due to high winds.

The bridge, which spans the River Severn between junction two at Chepstow, in Wales, and junction one at Aust, in South Gloucestershire, was temporarily shut, causing severe delays and congestion, particularly on the M4 as drivers diverted towards the Prince of Wales Bridge.
