CONTROVERSY over plans for a wind turbine in Coleford look set to continue after an inquiry was adjourned until June.
Businessman Ronald Kear submitted plans for the turbine at Poolway Farm in late 2011 but saw them rejected by the district council last April.
Planning bosses decreed that the height of the turbine would have an adverse impact on the aesthetics of the area, as well as impacting on a species of bat that frequents the site.
However, Mr Kear appealed against the decision in November and the tussle over the turbine continues as inspectors found that a three-day period was not long enough to complete the inquiry.
Concerns are also held over the impact of the turbine on the nearby Great Oaks Hospice.
