Police are trying to track down two not so super heroes after a medieval monument was vandalised in Clearwell.

Two of the four stone bollards at the base of the fourteenth century cross were knocked over and two men who attended a nearby party at Clearwell Caves are believed to have been involved.

One was dressed as Spiderman and the other as either Superman or "Mr Incredible". A woman picked up the two men in a black Audi described as possibly an A7, with an 11 plate.

The incident happened some time between 12.10am and 12.30am on Sunday.
