GLOUCESTERSHIRE’S top health official has played down fears from parents about Covid-19 contamination around Berry Hill after the return of a party of schoolchildren from a skiing trip to northern Italy last week.
The group from Five Acres High School went to Claviere a week last Friday but their adventure was cut short when Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte declared the whole country in lockdown to try and contain the spread.
However, The Forester received calls from worried parents in Berry Hill whose children were on the trip.
