Police are appealing for information to locate a man who has been reported missing as there are concerns for his welfare.

Jonathan, aged 40, was originally reported missing from Newport but has been sighted in the Forest of Dean over recent days.

He was last seen near Lydney Park Estate on Saturday morning ( October 8) and is still believed to be in the area.

The public are asked to not approach Jonathan, as he may not realise someone is trying to help him, but to instead call police with details of any sightings.

He is described as being white, 5ft 9ins tall, of a medium build, has shoulder length dark brown hair and stubble.

When last seen he was wearing baggy cow print trousers, a black jacket and t-shirt.

Anyone who has seen Jonathan or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident 229 of 9 October. Please dial 999 if Jonathan is present.
