A man has sustained serious injuries in a collision in the Forest of Dean on Saturday, September 14.

Police were called by the ambulance service shortly after 5.30pm with a report that a motorcyclist had collided with a parked vehicle in the village of Woolaston, near Lydney.

The rider, aged in his 30s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol by paramedics.

Road closures remained in place while police remained at the scene.
