CINDERFORD blew off the cobwebs with a 52-17 trial win over Matson on Saturday.
However, director of rugby Andy Deacon says he'll have a far better idea of where his squad is at after this Saturday's home friendly with Launceston (3pm).
Deacon said: "We mixed and match against Matson but a lot of the boys showed up well.
"No disrespect to Matson, but Launceston will provide a stiffer test."
Kai Done, Alan Bryan (2), Joe Smart, Morgan Goodhall (2), Richard Mountford and Nicky Gait scored Cinderford's tries on Saturday, with Mike Wilcox slotting six conversions.
