A HUSHED courtroom heard searing testimony of how a young girl in the 1970s had her life ‘wrecked’ by repeated sexual abuse at the hands of well known Forest freeminer Dave Harvey.

The woman, who was underage at the time of the alleged offences, said she was too young to realise what was happening at the time.

She was giving evidence in the trial of Harvey of Woodland Rise, Parkend, who is charged with ten charges of sexual abuse against three females in the 1970s.

The woman told Bristol Crown Court: ”He would get on top of me and he would touch me in places where no-one should be able to."He would ejaculate on me. I didn’t know what it was. It was a sticky thing.

“He wrecked my life.”

Harvey, 78, who was smartly dressed wearing a black suit and tie appeared in court with a walking stick, denies all charges.

The trial continues.
