THE GOOD Shepherd Church in Broadwell is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year and is seeking the help of local residents to uncover memories captured in old photographs.

Marian Ivens, who is coordinating this effort, encourages anyone who recognises a face or remembers the events captured in the photo to get in touch.

Events at the church have long been a joyous part of the community, with one such tradition continuing in the form of "Broadwell Chat." This informal gathering takes place on the first Thursday of each month from 10am to 12pm, where locals meet for coffee, exchange stories, swap items, and chat about books or puzzles—all while enjoying homemade cake.

In addition to these social gatherings, the church also offers a space for young people to express their creativity through drama. The "Cygnets to Swan" drama group meets on Sunday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm at The You Baptist Church, offering young people the chance to play and work on drama-based activities.

The church encourages everyone to get involved in its activities and to share their memories of the church's long history.
