FORESTRY England has closed all of its recreation facilities in the Forest of Dean to help slow the spread of Covid-19.
The authority, which oversees several sites in the Forest, announced the closure on Sunday evening (March 22).
The action comes after hordes of people reportedly flocked to outdoor beauty spots across the country, such as Snowdonia National Park and Sugar Loaf near Abergavenny, last weekend.
