A UNIQUE specially designed duck platform is now floating on Newent Lake.
Mallards, coots and moorhens are common inhabitants at the lake.
It was instigated and designed by two very considerate residents who felt the need to provide a haven for the ducks and set about building the structure.
The completed floating platform which has two duck houses on it, each with two nesting compartments and four submerged plant pots to add vegetation, it was donated to Newent Town Council.
