MORE than 150 pupils from schools in the Coleford area put on a dance spectacular at Lakers School last Thursday.

More than 120 parents and family members attended the event.

One member of the audience said: ‘It was lovely to see all the youngsters of different ages having so much fun and enjoying themselves and the dance routines were amazing; made me want to get up and dance too. 

“I really enjoyed the wonderful musical accompaniments, the singers and especially the Steel Pans who were brilliant playing at the end of the show. “I’m looking forward to next year.”

The participants were drawn from Lakers School, Berry Hill Primary School, English Bicknor Primary School, St John’s C of E Academy, Coalway Junior School and Clearwell C of E Primary School.
