CINDERFORD actress Hayley-Jo Whitney has been 'shaking what her mother gave her' in living rooms across the country as the star of the latest Specsavers' television advert.

The 37-year-old plays a short-sighted Zumba instructor who wanders into a bingo hall and begins her fitness class in front of bewildered pensioners.

Hayley-Jo grew up on Station Street in Cinderford and was born in Lydney Hospital.

She now lives in London and said she enjoyed shooting the advert despite a 14-hour filming session and coming down with food poisoning the weekend before the cameras started rolling.
