A LYDNEY-based off licence, Bargain Booze has been sold to a wine store entrepreneur looking to expand his portfolio.

The store had previously been owned by Anthony Parsons, but after deciding to sell up to explore other business opportunities, business property adviser Christie & Co came in to process the sale.

Joe Brayne, a senior business agent at Christie & Co, said: "We received multiple enquiries and interest in the store. The market is generally favourable, leaning towards a sellers' market with high demand for similar stores."

The sale marks a new chapter for retail outlet with its new proprietor, Loganathan Kandasamy, who looks forward to continuing and growing the business in Lydney.
