dogs charge
Two Coleford people - a 23 year old man and a 20 year old woman - have been charged with having two American bulldogs which were dangerously out of control and caused injury to a female in the town last September. Damon Poppleton of South Road and Chloe Wainwright of Sunnybank are accused under the Dangerous Dogs Act of being the owners or persons in charge of 'Rocky' and 'Milo,' two American bulldogs which were not under control in South Road, Coleford, on September 19 and caused injury. The pair have been bailed to attend Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on June 7 to enter their pleas to the charge.
Cocaine
possession
A 29 year old Cinderford man has been fined £120 and ordered to pay £133 in costs and surcharges after he was caught in possession of cocaine.
Jake Edwards of Cedardean pleaded guilty at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court to having five grams of the Class A drug in Drybrook on November 16 last year.
The court ordered forfeiture and destruction of the cocaine.

A 46-year-old Yorkley man accused of assaulting a Coleford woman, stealing cash from her, and taking a BMW car without consent is to stand trial at Cheltenham Magistrates Court’ at the end of September. David Greenway of Danby Road, Yorkley, has denied stealing an unknown quantity of cash from the woman between April 7-15 this year, assaultung her by beating on April 9, taking the car without consent and driving it without insurance in Staunton Road, Coleford, on April 14 and breaching a non-molestation order on the same date. The magistrates granted him conditional bail pending trial on 30th September this year.
