A 21-year-old Berry Hill man who twice breached a court order by going to a woman's home – assaulting her on both occasions – has been sentenced to a community order with a requirement to do 120 hours of unpaid work. Jordan Marshall of Coverham Close pleaded guilty at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court to going to the woman's address in Lydney on June 25 and July 12 last year in contravention of an order made by the Family Court in November 2022. He also admitted that on each of the two occasions he assaulted the woman by beating.
The community order imposed by the magistrates requires him to participate in the Building Better Relationships programme. Marshall was ordered to pay £199 in costs and surcharges and the magistrates imposed a two-year restraining order banning him from contacting the woman in any way or going to her address.
